Airline food - Philippine vacation

Traveling alone to Philippines i felt happy and sad.

I was very happy knowing that i would spend time with my family for a couple of weeks. I was looking forward to it even if i did not even decided yet. I had a hard time deciding if i would go home or not. As my husband said, "this would maybe your going home alone for a long time". I never been home alone and never traveled alone (except my first business flight to Sweden for the first time). I decided to going home sunday afternoon and my flight was monday afternoon. OMG it was panic :).

I and hubby always traveled together and traveling alone to Philippines made me think many times if i could do it by myself. It's not that i could not do it myself but i am and always depended with my husband.

But i decided to go out from my comfort zone and traveled to Philippines alone. I was very happy spending time with my family but i wished that my husband were with me.

Anyway, here are some of my meal on the plane. The first two pictures were served on my way to Philippines and the last one was going back. I'm not really an avid fan of the plane food but i should be thankful. 

Blue Monday: Nature Museum

Schooling is always exciting especially if there are some outside doors activities/fieldtrip. I've been to different museum here in Sweden and one museum that I really like about nature/animals.

an island outing

A friend of mine Sherry (Sister of Shella and mother of Alexandra) asked me few days ago if I would like to go with her and Alexandra to an island outing. Without any hesitations I said yes directly since I don’t have schools and I’m just at home.

So it was today’s outing but when I looked at the weather yesterday, I thought the outing would be cancelled because it would be raining today. But as Shella said, rain or shine the outing must go on. Sherry and Alexandra met me around 8.20 at the boat station. The boat should leave 9.00 and it’s only every hour. We arrived at the island knowing that the kids couldn’t swim due to the coldness.

So what have we done was just taking pictures, I’ve been to the water with the kids to find some empty shells, chatted with Sherry, ate and roamed around the island.To Shella, Sherry and Alexandra, thank you so much guys for inviting me to be a part of that unforgettable outing. Sherry thanks for the unbelievable stories of yours that some of them made me cry….hehehe. The cute and very sweet little girl Alexandra you made me smile because of your cutie expressions and unexplainable sweetness. See you guys again soon. Happy weekend everyone and take care...

our day adventure

I and hubby did a very long drive today.

As you read to my previous post, I and hubby celebrated our 4 years together as a couple and since he had work last Friday, we celebrated it today. Even if I didn’t feel good (I’m still sick) it was not the reason for us not to celebrate our special day.We started to drive before the sun strike into the mountain. The weather today was perfect. Sunny and not very cold so we just drove until where the car brought us… I mean until where my husband’s hands drive.It was almost 10 hours drove without any plan destinations. The end of the day, we both tired but fulfill of our adventured.

Shopping is fun but expensive....hehehe. Me and my husband spent some thousands of "crowns" (money) yesterday but at least we don't need to buy some of our supplies for few months.

After shopping yesterday, we supposedly drive through my husband's auntie but unfortunately we forgot the way to go there because the way that we know was ongoing men at works...hehehe. So instead we drove to my sister in law's summer house. I didn't know which is more closer, my husband’s auntie's house or his sister's summer house. I don't really know... hehehe.

We had an adventure drove to my sister in-laws summer house for almost 2 hours. We got little lost on our way there because my husband didn't know the way from that store we've been to, but if we're from (our house) Gothenburg, so it would be easier. But then we came there safe and happy.

We stayed there only few hours since we must drive back home. If we stay there longer, it might be dangerous because it was heavy rain and was starting to get dark. We came home safe, tired and very sleepy...hehehe...
