our simple celebrations

I and hubby celebrated Christmas and New Year on Dec 31 due to his accident. We really wanted to celebrate it as happy as we could but unfortunately my hubby couldn’t resist staying up until midnight. It was very difficult for him to just set down in the chair and wait for the New Year’s countdown.

So instead of waiting the count down, we ate our Christmas food around 17.00 (mid night in Philippine). We just thought that we were celebrating it with my family in Philippines (12.00 midnights Philippine time)

Our night ended up happy and at least did our little celebrations. Happy New Year everyone…

finally he's home

Finally he’s home!!!

My husband is finally home after his 11 days stayed in the hospital. His operations are still aching but at least he can walk slowly and can carry little things in his hand. It’s still difficult for him to move around the house but he will use to it. We’re thankful enough that he’s getting better and better every day..

As I said to my last post, we didn’t celebrate Christmas because he was in the hospital and now since he’s home, we could celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve all together. I already completed my 13 fruits and already have the lists of foods that we’re going to have tomorrow.

I really hope that my husband will totally be recovered so that we could be back to our normal life together. Wishing everyone a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

longing my husband

My husband operated his left leg and left hand two days ago. It was a relief for me because I knew that it would at least less his pain after operations. Yesterday he did his first tried of walking after operations and after few days of lying in bed.

Today he’s been transferred to another hospital due to some holiday season reasons. The hospital will be close for few days.

As of now, it’s still pain but it’s not same painful as it was when it happened. The doctors said, he could go home on Monday if my husband would help himself also to get well. As I saw my husband today, he is really able to back to normal. He’s trying his best to walk of course with the help of rolling stool. So far, he’s doing very well. I’m very proud of his eagerness

All I want is he would be well and can come home before New Year. We could celebrate Christmas and New Year together as soon as he’s home.

I’m longing my husband to be home again and back to normal life. I miss him so much and I love him very dearly forever…

my family's holidays

My sister Marlyn sent me some of their pictures last Christmas and New Year.

Even if we're not together (as usual) last Christmas, still we tried our best to be happy in those particular occasions.Christmas day, around 12 midnight in Philippines and 5 pm here in Sweden, me and my husband ate our julafton mat (Christmas foods). While eating my hubby told me to start the laptop and views my family in Philippines. Yes I did and I viewed them. They were eating same as me and hubby. We were viewing also our brother in Kuwait who just came home from work and he didn't even have one food for Christmas. He said there was no holiday there. He just work and work even if Christmas and New Year... poor brother.

So was it... we were chatting and eating our foods in Christmas Eve. New Year was not really as I was expecting... As usual we started our computer and page them but unfortunately I didn't view them. All of them were busy... My mother was taking care of Gina's baby and the rest was outside watching and looking for the amazing and unbelievable fireworks outside their gate. So while I was sending messages to them, they didn't reply me...huhuhu so I knew already where they were. Same as we did last year when me and my husband spent holidays in Philippines.

But then everything was happy and we're all happy... Happy New Year to my family.

New Year's Resolutions

Every New Year, I used to have some new year’s resolutions. Last year I had few and almost all of them were successful but there are very few that until now I will wish and put to my 2010 new year’s resolutions. Here are some of my lists:

1. Sensitive - I do really must minimize my sensitiveness. I am a type of person that even just a simple word it makes me feels bad. That's why my hubby knows and always watches his words to me. Even if just a simple joke that even the person who makes it didn't even notice that it's hurting me.

2. Tearing eyes - yes I cry very, very, very fast. Same as number 1, just simple words or reasons but I feel it not too good, then here comes my bundle of tears...hahaha... Even just I’m watching some shows or films. If sad moment, I cry and if happy moment, I cry also. For instance, a group of players or single player and win the competitions. They're happy of course and I am also happy but with tears... kaloka di ba?

3. Wake up late - this is I must really change. We used to sleep early at night because my husband needs to wake up early to go to his work. After he left at work, I’ll be back to sleep and wake very late. It's unfair to him....huhuhuh

4. Organize - I am organizing person that even just a small thing, I want it into a place where it belong. But being organize is not really helping to me and my husband because he cannot find the things that he wanted and I cannot remember also where I put...

5. I must have enough self confidence
6. Believe in myself that I can handle things that I must

7. and more….

Those are some of my resolutions and some are little bit private matter so I don't need to write it here...hehehe. I hope I can do it and hold it for myself.

changes for new year

As you can see guys, I changed my template “again” through the kindness of everybody's friend David Funk. I was really irritated today trying to change my template. Me and Laikka tried to do it ourselves but still we weren’t able to success. So tejan asked favor to David for Laikka's template and it’s done. So I asked favor to David also…hehehe
It's New Year so I’m trying to change everything into new and maybe put some changes of my blog since Mr. Google got some of my page rank.

To my very good friend David, thank you, thank you so much for always helping me. You know how thankful I/we to have a friend like you. To some of my friends that are not in my list now, please message me so that I can add you guys again…

By the way guys, do you have New Year’s resolutions? I have few but I will write it on my next post.
Happy new year and welcome 2010.
