my passports

I just posted here two weeks ago about my Swedish citizenship. I got it earlier than we were expected. And last Saturday I already applied my Swedish passport because we're planning to travel this summer.

Yesterday, I got a text message from "the police" where I applied my Swedish passport, saying that my passport was already ready to pick up. Today after my social study subject I went directly to the police station and get my new passport. My school was just at the back of the police station so it was just few minutes walked and I already there and got my passport.

So here I have my two passports. My Philippine passport and my Swedish passport. Are they looking the same? hehehe... no they’re not (but if I have the new Philippine passport then it will be same colors)...

finally i am

I just turned 3 years here in Sweden last April 12. In that particular date, we applied directly my Swedish citizenship. I posted here that maybe it would take few weeks or months before we get the results...

But today I got a pick up note that I must pick up some envelope from post office near where we live. I waited my husband first before we got it.

We went there together and opened the envelope with unexplainable feelings. My husband read and made some jokes to me by showing he was sad, and then suddenly he showed me the papers stating that I am Swedish citizen already.

We're not expecting that it was just few weeks from our application and we got already the results. I'm very happy and finally I am Swedish.

We cannot celebrate it now since my hubby must work tomorrow and I have school also so maybe we can celebrate on tomorrow night or Saturday. What, where or how? I don’t know yet...
We'll find it out tomorrow.. Have a good day everybody.

very full day

I, Shy, Tejan and her baby Laikka was in one of our Filipina friend’s crib today. Jen or payat cooked and prepared lots of foods.

Utensils were not in our plate so obviously we were eating using our hands. Fried dried fish, fried fresh fish, cooked oven chicken, pinakbit with bagoong, mango with bagoong, fresh leafy vegetables, rice and noodles was our lunch. After having lunch, Tejan fell asleep in the sofa while I was fixing cappuccino for her and Shy.

Jen preparing again something to eat while we're relaxing from our full lunch. Tejans cutie daughter wanted me to put nail color to her nails so I did it.

While relaxing in the sofa, we had chips with dip, carrots and cucumbers, muffins and ice cream. Before going home, we ate again...hahaha but this time around Shy didn't eat again. She was on diet "maybe"...hehehe but for me, Tejan and Jen, diet is not our concern today...

Thank you so much friends for the wonderful and full stomach day. See you again one of the day next week for our study day.

mabuhay

I'm not really a fan of Freddie Aguilar but I like his way of writing and singing nationalistic songs.

Today while I was looking for some things, I accidentally found a very old Freddie cassette tape in one of our old player. At first I thought it was a Swedish songs because as you can see there is no name in the tape. I asked my husband about it and he didn't even remember what is it. I just continued finding the things that I'm looking then suddenly I found another Freddie. I was very happy when I saw it because of course I don't have any Tagalog songs here at home.

Due to my excitement, I forgot what I’m looking for and went directly to our player. I was about to throw the old cassette tape then I said, why shouldn't try it first before throwing? Gossshhh I was very happy that the cassette tape started with "Ang Bayan kung Pilipinas" song. Oh my God, it's Freddie... I listened the cassette tape until all the songs finished then changed into the CD. heheh

My husband remember that he bought the CD year 1987 in Philippines. He saw once of Freddie Aguillar "live" performace in one bar in Manila.

I like all the songs and I can say "I'm Proud to be a Filipino" Mabuhay...
