happy birthday

Today is the day of our cute and new mommy sister Gina. Another number added to her age but she don't really mind it.

Gina is next to me. A small tribute about her. She was born like just a 1 liter bottle of coke, was always sick and had lots of different kind of sickness when she was a kid. She's the smallest among all of our siblings. But throughout all her difficulties, she survives and stays strong until now.

When she got pregnant of her little girl Aquinnah, seems all mama's difficulties when she was pregnant with Gina was Gina's also experiencing. Gina was almost bed rest all her pregnancy time but thanks God the baby was born healthy and strong.

Gina got her first trophy last Nov. 10 when Aquinnah's born. And she's very proud of everything she've been through even though it was hard times and good times.

To our dear sister, HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I better not to write your age so that it's just secret...hahaha... Just stay strong (as you always do) despite of all the trials and hard times you have. And as I said, just smile, chin up and face your life as proud as you are...

I know that you're happy because of the happiness that your little girl brings into your daily life. But still I’m wishing you more happiness and good health as always... I love you even I don’t often tell you. Take care always...

voted for the first time

Next week will be the Swedish elections and as early as of now, they already accepting voters to avoid long queue on the last day of elections. Unlike in the Philippines, it should be only one day of elections but here, is take weeks or so before the said date.

Today I did vote for the first time. Since I got my citizenship last April, I am able to vote also. I didn’t really know how I felt because it was my first time voting in my whole life. I never vote either when I was still in Philippines... It was take only few minutes and it was done…

I’m sure I did vote wisely. I conducted some interviews for some political party as part of my social study subject. My teacher assigned me the political party that I would interview and I’m thankful because my favorite party was assigned to me. .

All I can do now is to wait the results and hoping that my party will win. Same as my husband’s political party. Vote wisely Swedish people...

grilled pork

Sweden is celebrating “midsommar” this weekend and almost everybody are free from work and just be with the family, outing, spending time together and grilling.

I and hubby are just at home and spend our midsommar together. We just want to spend our time together, cooking, grilling and etc. Yesterday we grilled pork for our dinner. Hubby ate his grilled pork with a glass of beer and I ate mine with vegetables...

Today I and two of my friends went to “slottskogen”. I'll post about it tomorrow.

Ha en trevlig midsommar alla svenskar. Happy friday everyone.

P.S. All red color letters are Swedish words…

congratulations sis

Our youngest sister Annie graduated her assistant nurse course few days ago. That course that she took has two choices. She could graduate after two years or she could continue to four years to be a certify nurse. But she just took the two years...
Her graduation was tiring and fun as she said. My loving mother was with her on her unforgettable day in her life. Everything went well and they went home very tired and happy...

To our dear Annie, congratulations and all I wish is for your own good. Good luck in your next step of life. I love you and I’ll be here for you anytime...
God bless our family
