Rhodos Greece food

In some of my previous post, i posted our Poland vacation foods.

This time around i am posting our Rhodos Greece dessert/foods. We were in Greece for a two weeks vacation last year. We had a package vacation (tickets, hotel and foods) but even if we had a package vacation, we still went out to some restaurants and ate their famous gyros. All i can say about that gyros is "YUMMY".

last week meeting

As I posted last week, i and my husband are busy of our ongoing apartment constructions. Our new nest would be finished this year but as early as of now, we’re trying to fix everything before we can move in.

Last Wednesday, we had a meeting with our constructions agent. We wanted some additional beautification inside and we bought some stuff to put in our kitchen.

We came there earlier so we waited outside the office since it was lunch time we came there. While waiting I grabbed my camera and asked my husband to took some pictures on me. The weather last week was wonderful that I even used just sandals and without jacket.

ma'am Hayde day

Happy birthday!!!

Today is the birthday of my beloved high school teacher who’s I learned so much. I‘ve known her as Ms. Hayde Villagomez. Our section was her first ever advisory class since she started teaching. She appointed me as dance leader in one of our high school days activities. She convinced me to pursue my studies than to get married early. She tough me on how to be girly and act like a girl than to forever be boyish.

She’s very much helpful. Dedicated on everything she does. She’s very calm but can be dangerous if she gets angry. She’s a good friend and teacher.

Thank you is not enough to thank my loving teacher. But in anyhow I knew I have something in her heart.

Happy, happy birthday my dearest teacher Mrs. Hayde Villagomez Portal. I’m wishing you all the best and may all your wishes come true. Enjoy your day ma’am and I really hope we could meet up again soon. I miss you so much my dear teacher.

my t-shirts for alumni

I mentioned here few times about our homecoming Griffinian alumni. I wasn't really sure before that this could be happen until just last week one of the organizer informed us that our alumni is confirmed and it would be on the 26th of May.

Having alumni isn't easy for all the organizers. They need to prepared everything from the list of things to do on that day. What are the activities? what would the food, the motif, the contest and etc. It's not all yet ready so all of us Griffinian are trying to help the best we could even if we're very far from each other.

Some of our organizers are trying to assigned some things that we could do. For me since i'm one of the school officers on my years and we had this kind of good records about our things that have done, i am assigned to purchase our t-shirts for our sports part. We have this all day activities where we would have some sports, contest and some beauty pageant. And our alumni would ended up with some disco party.

Since i am assigned to purchase thousands t-shirts for our day time activities, i must really sure and prepare that i could find all those t-shirts that they wanted me to purchase. I know that having this assignments is not easy but i would gladly help them to make this planned alumni come true. The difficult part of my task is to divide this thousand t-shirts into different sizes and how many in each size.

I am ready to give them my assigned task but i dont know if i could come since i have lots of things to be consider before going home and be on that particular gathering.

As of now, all i could wish is i could come and be with them. Have fun and it would be very exciting to meet again my batch mates way back 1995. I can't even sleep thinking of this and because of my excitements, i even somethings dreaming of it. Funny right?hehehe

interviewed

Before Swedish election (Sept. 19), my social study teacher assigned us to conduct an interview to any political party here in Sweden. I was assigned to one of my favorite party where I was very nervous because it was my first time. We went to our designated political party booth whenever we wanted.
Since I didn’t have school every Friday, I did my interview on Friday. I was not difficult or nervousness at all as I was expecting. They were all very nice and helpful. I finished my interview in just 10 minutes and we even chatted little about some of our personal life.

Julie is the person that I interviewed. She's very nice and pretty. After interviewing and listening their ideology, I though many times about voting them or not.

But whatever I voted on the elections, they're all winners. It was an unforgettable moment when I interviewed and at the same time it was a very good experience.

to be with Aquinnah

Aquinnah is a cute, adorable and amazing baby so I couldn’t even just ignore her when I was at home with them.

The first night I slept over with them was very much memorable to me. That was the first time I saw Aquinnah on how she behave before sleeping, what’s her routine before going to bed and how many time she must bottle feed at night.Before going to bed, of course she must have her bath, change into night clothes and a bottle of milk. On bed she used to have a short story telling. So I took advantage of the time when I was there and read a story to her "Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty". After reading a short story, she would play for a while then sleep. Oh how I miss that time when I was there reading story to her and seeing her so hyper.

But I’m sure I can do some more things the next time I meet her. Can't wait to see her walking, running after me and talking to me...hahaha I’m like her mommy...

meeting Aquinnah

One thing that I was excited about when we changed our tickets to Philippines (instead to Turkey) was meeting Gina's little girl Aquinnah. I really felt my excitement directly we landed at NAIA airport Manila.

I didn't meet them the first day due to we came there 1.00 AM and we just slept and woke up late afternoon. We were very tired that we didn't even eat breakfast and lunch. Instead we had heavy snack where it results to not eating dinner.I went to the house on the next day. My pasalubong was already packed from here in Sweden so I just pick it up from our baggage and went out. My hubby didn't go with me so I went there alone. I walked with little bit run for me to came home directly...hahah it was not helping actually.And there I go... Aquinnah was afraid of me and didn't even want to be with me. Of course I understand because she just saw me. But after few hours, here’s me and Aquinnah playing and laughing together.

I'm really amazed of our little girl. She's so cute and adorable in here cute simple smile...

memorable place

As you all know, me and my husband went to a cheap store and bought some stuff and after our shopping we went to my sister-in-laws summer house. While on our way home, we dropped by in one of a memorable place of my husband.

My husband did his military training when he was 20 years old and he did it in a place 2 hours drive from our home now. In that place there were lots of unforgettable experiences, difficulties of his training and of course some funny things that they did together his classmates.

Teenager life... All of them were boys and if boys are together, there are lots of "kalokohan" happening...hehehe. I don't know what those are i just know some...
We drove there and I took some pictures of my husband’s memorable place.

Ps. This place is no longer military camp training. It's a school now.
