an island outing

A friend of mine Sherry (Sister of Shella and mother of Alexandra) asked me few days ago if I would like to go with her and Alexandra to an island outing. Without any hesitations I said yes directly since I don’t have schools and I’m just at home.

So it was today’s outing but when I looked at the weather yesterday, I thought the outing would be cancelled because it would be raining today. But as Shella said, rain or shine the outing must go on. Sherry and Alexandra met me around 8.20 at the boat station. The boat should leave 9.00 and it’s only every hour. We arrived at the island knowing that the kids couldn’t swim due to the coldness.

So what have we done was just taking pictures, I’ve been to the water with the kids to find some empty shells, chatted with Sherry, ate and roamed around the island.To Shella, Sherry and Alexandra, thank you so much guys for inviting me to be a part of that unforgettable outing. Sherry thanks for the unbelievable stories of yours that some of them made me cry….hehehe. The cute and very sweet little girl Alexandra you made me smile because of your cutie expressions and unexplainable sweetness. See you guys again soon. Happy weekend everyone and take care...

raining summer?

I was very happy last week because at least I went out without using jackets and I even used slippers because it was really fine weather and hot enough. I and my Filipina friends had our lunch under the shinning sun last week and we thought that it would be the start of a hot and exciting summer.

But unfortunately we're wrong because few days already that had been raining and as usual we're using jackets again...huhuhu. It's not really cold like winter but it's not hot enough to not use jacket.

I really want a shining sun now a day and at least hot weather. We still have few weeks until our Scotland and Turkey vacation so I want to feel warm here in Sweden.

i'm back to zero

Whaaaaaaaa???? As in I’m back to zero rank now. I've been blogging for more than a year and a half and I'm really enjoying it. It's just lately I was blogging on and off due to my laziness...

Actually I’m expecting that my page rank would be back to zero because I’m not updating my blog everyday and I’m too lazy to visit my bloggers friend.

I'm not sure yet but I will try my best to update or post into my blog everyday and visit my bloggers friends to get back my rank.

But even if I’m back to zero now, I’m still thankful to Mr. Google for giving me PR 3 then up to PR 4 then down to PR 2 and now ZERO...

learning new language

To be in a place or country that has different languages makes people very difficult to communicate especially from the first month or year. In every country, there are people that couldn't speak English so of course you must at least understand even if you cannot speak it yet.

When I first came here in Sweden, I found myself so stupid and like a crazy one who didn't understand what they were talking about. I even called it the duck talk...But proud to say that after few months of learning their language, I could speak and understand them already.

I will be finished my Swedish subject this term and as of now I’m already starting to learn French. I found French is very interesting and unique languages so I enrolled in a French school here and hoping to start soon.

As of now, I just surfing the net some for French word and I even find a service de traduction (translations services) to help me understand the words. There are lots of professional translation services which can help me learning French. I'm looking forward to learn French through the help of translation services.

I wish good luck for myself and hoping I can learn French fast likes my Swedish...

Scotland and Turkey

I just mentioned here few weeks ago about our different choices of places for our summer vacation and Turkey is what we have chosen to go.Just yesterday my husband bought another ticket to another part of Europe. Before our flight to Turkey, my husband have 1 week off from his work so what he did was booked and bought flight tickets to another part of Europe.

So we will be going to Scotland for few days and we'll be back here in Gothenburg for just one day rest then it will be our another flight to Turkey for our few weeks summer vacation.

I'm very excited for these two countries that we will go to because of course I never been there. This will be a happy and exciting summer vacation plus maybe little sunburn in Turkey. So guys watch out for my sunburn body when we come back...hahaha
